Hi everyone,
For lack of a better place for greets, I couldn't resist jumping on here as soon as I discovered cu3er.
I haven't use cu3er yet, but I am unreasonably excited by it's prospect and potential ;)
Firstly, I am a photographer who is intending to do a LOT more slideshows that MUST be easy to maintain and extend.
Secondly, I *used* to be a /professional/ web developer, and now I only code for leisure.
I'm probably more excited than most, because I am in the midst of writing some comprehensive PHP code which was originally intended to automate slideshows presented with monoslideshow.swf. Being the re-factoring whore that I am, I couldn't resist generalizing the code and integrating into an XML framework I wrote years ago. To that end, I want to write a PHP script which can support the AUTOMATIC creation of multiple XML vocabularies based on the contents of a directory tree. Different vocabularies (ie. XML slideshow technologies) will be implemented as different "driver" files (child classes). I was toying with the idea of creating a generalised master vocabulary and then making the driver files XSLT templates. I haven't really decided yet.
Clear as mud???
Anyways, to see the genesis of the idea, have a look at

I hope posting that link doesn't offend anyone. I will take the liberty to assume not.
I hope to play an active role in this community.
Keep up the good work.
